Animas River Valley - plein air landscape

Today's painting, with the Friday plein air group.   A new location - the Lion's Den city park.  It's an easily accessible location that overlooks the scenic Animas River Valley, and good practice painting a "big view", something I don't do often.

    What a pretty view! And you painted it beautifully! Thinking that it must be gorgeous in the fall, too.

    Thanks so much, Darla - it is beautiful in the fall. If I happen to be in town when the cottonwoods are in color, I'll probably paint it again!
